According to a declaration of arrest, a disturbing incident unfolded in Las Vegas involving two sisters and a man. They are accused of luring another man under false pretenses, with the intention of robbing him. Tragically, during the encounter, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

Nathan Nava, 22, Skylar Bailey, 23, and Emiley Ridout, 20, are currently facing charges of open murder, battery to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to records.

At approximately 7:55 p.m. on July 19, law enforcement received multiple calls regarding gunshots and a potential shooting incident at an apartment complex located in the 4700 block of Arid Avenue, near the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue.

Upon the arrival of officers, they discovered an individual, later identified as 19-year-old Conner Rebolledo, lying unresponsive in the parking lot. Blood was observed coming from his head area, and he was found holding a gun with his finger on the trigger, according to the police.

Rebolledo was declared deceased at the location. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

According to a witness, a resident in the apartment complex reported to the police that she observed Rebolledo walking with a woman near her open window. Suddenly, three men approached and physically assaulted Rebolledo, as per the police statement.

Rebolledo was assaulted by all three individuals, with one of them resorting to using a firearm to repeatedly strike him. According to the report, the witness stated that the woman remained nearby without taking any action to de-escalate the situation and fled once the gunshots began.

During the altercation, the individual who struck Rebolledo with a pistol fired multiple shots at him. Following the sound of gunshots, the three individuals swiftly dispersed in separate directions, with one of them seeking refuge near a woman, according to authorities.

Shortly after the police dispatch shared the suspects’ description, an undercover LVMPD detective and an unmarked police vehicle entered the apartment complex. As she made her way through the complex, she became aware of a vehicle following closely behind her.

While driving, the detective spotted a woman and two men who resembled the suspects. They quickly approached her in the parking lot, signaling for her attention.

The detective quickly realized that the group mistook her for their rideshare driver. Without missing a beat, she decided to keep driving and observed them getting into the car right behind her. According to the police, the vehicle was followed and stopped, resulting in the detention of the occupants, Nava, Bailey, and a family member of Nava.

Nava informed the authorities that he and Bailey, the mother of his baby, were spending time at a friend’s residence within the complex, along with other individuals, when Robelledo unexpectedly arrived. According to the report, Nava stated that two individuals in the apartment mentioned that Robelledo owed them money and had intentions of robbing him. However, Nava made it clear that he did not wish to be involved in their plan.

Nava stated that the two individuals assaulted Rebolledo and he did not witness any firearm. Nava then requested a family member to arrange a rideshare for him and Bailey to be picked up.

Bailey informed the authorities that while she was strolling with Rebolledo, a group of individuals suddenly approached and assaulted him. According to the police, she claimed to have met Rebolledo at a party about a month ago.

According to statements from Rebolledo’s mother and girlfriend, on the night of his murder, he received a message at around 8:30 p.m. and informed them that he was going to meet a friend. He assured them that he would return within approximately 30 minutes. According to authorities, that was the final sighting of Rebolledo before his disappearance.

Police later interviewed Rebolledo’s co-worker, who revealed that Rebolledo had been communicating with a girl named “Emiley” on Instagram and had plans to meet up with her. The two had initially planned to meet on July 16, but “Emiley” canceled. They rescheduled for July 18, the day before Rebolledo’s murder, but “Emiley” claimed to have gotten a flat tire, as per the report.

According to the police, Rebolledo shared screenshots of his conversations with Emiley, where she made plans with him and assured him that they would definitely meet the next day, which tragically turned out to be the day of his murder.

Nava, Ridout, and Bailey are all set to appear in court on September 17th for a preliminary hearing, according to records.
