Honk News (THIENSVILLE, WI) – After a months-long investigation into a claim that a former teacher in Wisconsin was allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior with a student, the teacher was arrested and prosecuted.

The Thiensville Police Department said that the information was received on November 15, 2024, regarding a former teacher at Christ Alone Lutheran School in Thiensville.

The tip led to an investigation that school authorities assisted with, and the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office was called in to provide further information.

Daniel Rick, who is 36 years old, was arrested and taken into custody on January 17, 2025, as a consequence of the investigation. Rick was accused of Child Enticement and Exposing Genitalia.
