Honk News (Los Angeles, CA) – There were many individuals taken into custody by officers with the Los Angeles Police Department during a vehicle pursuit that took place in South Los Angeles on Monday night.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that there were three individuals in the vehicle who were dressed in black clothing and ski masks. These individuals were all wanted for grand theft auto (GTA), and it is possible that they were armed.
As authorities placed a spike strip close to the intersection of Orchard Avenue and 90th Street, Sky5 was flying overhead, and Gil Leyvas of KTLA was following the pursuit closely.
The driver of the suspicious car came to a stop before crossing over the spike strip after it had been laid out.
It was observed that a number of suspects attempted to escape from the vehicle, but they were immediately apprehended by the officers who were present at the location.
