Oregon Teacher Lands in Custody after He Molested Female High School Student for 2 Years Continuously

Honk News (Selma, OR) – A former teacher from Rogue River Junior-Senior High School in Southern Oregon was taken into custody on Saturday, facing several charges of sexual abuse involving a former student, according to local police.

Jesse Rex Orndoff, 30, from Selma, has been charged with several counts of rape, sexual abuse, and sodomy, as stated in a release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Orndoff is no longer at the Rogue River school, according to police, but was last employed at the Rogue Christian Academy in Grants Pass. Documents from the school district reveal that Orndoff began his role at Rogue River Junior-Senior High in 2018 and stepped down from his duties as a science teacher and athletic director last June.

A former student claims that Orndoff’s abuse occurred over a span of several years, beginning when she was 15 and lasting until she turned 17. She is no longer attending the high school.
