Oklahoma Pastor Prayed over 6th-grade Daughter’s Body only to Touch Her Inappropriately; Arrested after She Reveals Brutal Molestation

A pastor from Oklahoma has faced serious allegations of sexually abusing his daughter, starting in the sixth grade, and has communicated to his wife that he believes he “should go straight to hell” upon his death.

Bertheophilus Maurice Bailey, Sr., referred to as “Judge,” faced charges in Tulsa County District Court on Wednesday, including two counts of first-degree rape, child sexual abuse, incest, forcible sodomy, and robbery.

The detailed affidavit outlines a 14-point list that Bailey provided to his wife, which includes terms such as “felon,” “child molester,” “rapist,” “unfaithful husband,” and “uncommitted father.”

Bailey’s message concludes with him expressing deep self-reproach, stating, “I am a f—— a—— who should go straight to hell when I die,” according to court documents.

On September 24, he was ousted from his role at the long-established St. Andrew Christian Church, where he had been guiding the congregation since 2018.

Bailey is facing allegations from his daughter, who is now an adult and has shared her accusations through social media and a local television station in Tulsa. Tulsa police have reported that a second victim has stepped forward following that post.

A recorded phone call submitted to the police reveals a tense exchange between Harmony Oates and Bailey, where Oates addresses the allegations of abuse. In a desperate plea, Bailey implores Oates to keep the matter from her husband, claiming that the revelation would lead to disastrous consequences for their community, according to the affidavit. “

In a string of messages exchanged between Bailey and his spouse, she addresses him regarding the purported sexual abuse and his supposed dishonesty. In response, Bailey admits to being untruthful, stating, “He had planned on taking the secret to his grave.”

Oates reported to authorities that the supposed sexual abuse began during her sixth-grade year, when her father would pray over her and engage in inappropriate touching. Oats revealed that the mistreatment ultimately intensified to sexual assault when she was 16 or 17 years old.

Following her marriage and the birth of her child, Oats alleged that Bailey entered her home and sexually assaulted her, as well as claimed he was seen looking through her windows.
