Authorities in Oklahoma City reported the arrest of a woman on Monday for allegedly putting her 2-month-old child in danger.
Authorities in Oklahoma City reported that a 25-year-old woman, Alamanique Adams, was under the influence at her residence near Northeast 23rd Street and North Kelley Avenue, exhibiting unusual behavior.
According to witnesses, Adams showed signs of agitation and even attempted to put the child on an unlit charcoal grill as part of a confrontation with her neighbors.
“According to OCPD Sgt. Dillon Quirk, officers were informed that she appeared to be impaired and had nearly let the baby fall multiple times from a second-story balcony.” “Once more, authorities apprehended that child and took her into custody.”
Authorities report that the infant received a medical evaluation at the hospital.
Adams remains in custody with a bond set at $5,000.
