On Tuesday, after a brief police pursuit, the Broken Arrow Police Department apprehended a man they believe was responsible for the five-day captivity of a lady.
According to the Broken Arrow Police Department (BAPD), a suspect was apprehended on Tuesday evening after police responded to an allegation of a domestic assault.
Gabriel Medina, the wanted man, was armed and dangerous when police found him. A pursuit ensued.

“After a five-day ordeal where he held a woman captive at gunpoint, she bravely managed to escape and call 911,” according to BAPD.
After a successful conclusion to the pursuit, authorities from the Bay Area Police Department (BAPD) detained Medina and charged him with kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.
“This incident showcases our dedication to protecting our community,” according to BAPD. “We are proud of our team and will continue to serve with integrity and determination.”
