Ohio Man Arrested after Police Busted Material Showing Adults Abusing Kids and Infants: Authorities

Police in Portsmouth have announced the arrest and subsequent charges of a man who they say was involved in the online distribution of explicit images of sexual abuse of children.

Internet Crimes Against Children contacted the Portsmouth police department regarding information they had received concerning the transmission of sexually explicit content involving children.

Jarrod Reffitt, a 44-year-old man, had numerous electronic devices confiscated when multiple law enforcement agencies carried out a search order at his residence on August 8. A search of the devices’ contents led the Portsmouth police to the conclusion that Reffitt “was in possession of a tremendous amount of child sexual assault material.” “

Law enforcement officials went on to say that the found footage and photos “were some of the most disturbing and vile videos and images of children, including infants, being sexually assaulted by adults.”
