Ohio High School Teacher Confessed to Inappropriate Relation with a Student under 13 years of age; Faces Justice

In Geauga County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday, a high school teacher and former high school football coach from Ohio entered a guilty plea to one count of gross sexual imposition.

Louis Cirino, a teacher in Strongsville, had a romantic relationship with a Geauga County child under the age of thirteen.

According to sources, the connection lasted from December 21, 2009, to December 20, 2010.

Cirino was employed at West Geauga Local Schools from 2006 until 2017, at which point he left to take a job in another school system.

On April 12, Cirino was taken into custody by Chester Township police officers.

Cirino is still free on bond until his sentencing, which has not yet been set, according to WOIO-19.

In December 2023, Cirino was placed on unpaid administrative leave by Strongsville City Schools. Additionally, he lost his coaching job.
