Missouri Man Threatened to Shoot Up School after Student Refused His Romantic Advances; Facing Charges after Witness Reports

A man from Seneca, Missouri, is facing multiple charges after reportedly threatening to shoot up a school and allegedly inappropriately touching junior high school girls.

Legal filings reveal that 18-year-old Brandin Steven Wilms made inappropriate remarks towards a young girl and issued threats to attack the school when she rejected his advances.

A witness reported to authorities that Wilms was removing his shirt near children at a nearby park and was shouting and tossing his bicycle when he became upset.

An underage girl reported to authorities that Wilms had been harassing her and her friends, claiming he would hide in the bushes to surprise them and linger for hours near their home, waiting for their return.

Wilms faces four felony charges now. The charges against him include:

  • Terrorist Threat – 2nd Degree
  • Harassment – 1st Degree
  • Harassment – 1st Degree
  • Child Molestation – 4th Degree

He faces a misdemeanor charge of Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree.

Wilms is currently in the Newton County Jail without the option for a bond.
