Massive Drug Bust in North Carolina; 7 Arrested and 4 on Large after Raid at Greensboro Club

Greensboro, NC:  A search at a Greensboro club led to the arrest of eleven individuals, as reported by North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement.

At 2507 West Gate City Boulevard, Secrets Cabaret, ALE and the Greensboro Police Department allegedly carried out a search warrant execution on Friday.

As a result of their search, the ALE allegedly found and confiscated narcotics, alcohol, cash, and five firearms, including a stolen weapon.

The Secrets Cabaret was the site of illegal drug and alcohol sales as well as gun crimes, according to the ALE and police who conducted the investigation.

Individuals listed below were subject to charges by the ALE and law enforcement:

  • Linda Jamison Newsome: Five counts of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, ten counts of possess alcohol for sale without an ABC permit, three counts of possess a controlled substance with the intent to sell or deliver marijuana, three counts of sell schedule VI-controlled substance, three counts of deliver schedule VI-controlled substance, and conspire to sell or deliver cocaine were leveled against 53-year-old  High Point, North Carolina resident.
  • Danny Vernard Washington:  The 41-year-old Goldsboro, North Carolina resident faces two counts of simple possession of marijuana and one count of unlicensed armed security without a permit, as well as two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
  • Jonathan Freeman Winton: Charges against 31-year-old Greensboro, North Carolina resident include armed security without authorization.
  • Kuchina Hazel: Possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana were charges against 25-year-old Hazel of Piedmont, South Carolina.
  • Nequareus Dre’von Roberts-Simon: 24-year-old Thomasville, North Carolina, resident faces charges related to NCGS 14-269(a1), which pertains to the use of a concealed weapon.
  • Andre Cornelius: Among the charges against Cornelius, a 34-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, was the unlawful possession of spirituous liquor.
  • Zariyah Sophia Hogan:  Among the charges against 21-year-old Midlothian, Virginia resident are those of simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The following people are the subjects of further warrants:

The 37-year-old Rockingham, North Carolina resident Antonio Omid Wall is facing five charges of keeping a habitation for controlled substances.

Charges against 32-year-old Rocky Mount, North Carolina resident Christopher Lee Martin Jr. include selling alcohol without the proper authorization and unlawful possession of spirituous liquor.

Greenville, North Carolina resident Jasmine Marie Carmon, 26, was arrested for sales of schedule VI controlled substances, delivery of schedule VI controlled substances, and possession of marijuana with the intent to sell or deliver.

Charges against 25-year-old Greensboro, North Carolina resident Frank Chessy Seator include possession with the purpose to supply marijuana, selling a schedule VI controlled substance, and delivering a schedule VI controlled substance.
