Man Shot His Wife And Kept Her Body In Freezer With Dead Cats in Seattle

Seattle, WA: David Loewe, the former CEO of Seattle Humane, has been accused of a tragic incident involving his wife Judy Loewe. The details surrounding this unfortunate event are deeply disturbing.

In a news release on February 6, Snoqualmie Police reported that both Loewes were discovered deceased at their apartment in North Bend, Washington. The police have classified the incident as a “murder-suicide.”

According to the police release, the Medical Examiner’s office has helped identify the two individuals as Judy M. Loewe and David E. Loewe, both 60 years old and from North Bend, WA. According to the statement, it is believed that David Loewe was responsible for Judy Loewe’s death before taking his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On January 31, 2024, at 3:46 p.m., police officers in Snoqualmie-North Bend were called to 964 Stone Brook Dr SW in North Bend, WA. The officers were responding to a Death Investigation after maintenance workers found a deceased male during a welfare check. The welfare check was conducted as part of a formal eviction process, according to a press release from the police.

During the initial investigation, authorities found an additional deceased body in a large freezer situated in the apartment’s garage. The Coalition of Small Police Agencies Major Crimes Task Force and the King County Medical Examiner’s Office were subsequently contacted to assist in the comprehensive investigation,” it states.

The autopsies were conducted on February 5, 2024. According to the police, it was concluded that the male died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, while the female victim was shot before being placed in the freezer.

As reported by the Seattle Times, four deceased felines were discovered near Judy Loewe in a freezer. However, the cause of their demise remains uncertain.
