A tragic incident occurred in Indiana, where a mother of three lost her life while filming a TikTok video with a friend. It is believed that her ex-boyfriend, who had been stalking her, was responsible for the fatal shooting.
Shockingly, the victim had expressed concerns about her safety and had even predicted the possibility of her ex-boyfriend causing harm.
Kaitlynn Lee, a 25-year-old woman, was reportedly having a joyful time with a friend, laughing, dancing, and lip-synching. However, their fun was interrupted when Kaitlynn noticed an individual knocking on her window, as reported by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the local outlet, Joshua Thompson, Lee’s ex, has been charged with murder. The authorities found his gun outside the window, along with a single spent shell casing.
According to court records reviewed by WHAS, he arrived at his brother’s home in a state of distress, tearfully confessing that he had shot and killed the mother of his child.

“We take domestic violence allegations seriously,” Floyd County Prosecutor Chris Lane told the outlet. “And we’re taking them seriously in this case.
According to the report, he surrendered himself and reportedly admitted to shooting his ex-partner. It is stated that he had been lingering around her residence to observe any male visitors.
The couple had a troubled relationship and Thompson had a no-contact order in place.
According to court documents, a witness informed the police about Lee’s concerns, stating that she had expressed fears that Joshua would be responsible for her potential death.
“Unfortunately this is not unusual for these allegations and circumstances,” Lane said. “Relationships can lead to tragic results and, unfortunately, the allegations are that’s what happened.”
Thompson is currently being held without bail at the Floyd County Jail.
