A man has been taken into custody by the police on suspicion of hitting and running a 15-year-old in South Los Angeles.

Krunal Jigneshbhai Dhanani was taken into custody by California Highway Patrol officers on Wednesday. On social media, the department posted a video of the arrest.

According to the security footage, the boy’s father, Eric Carrillo, stated, “to me, it looks like attempted murder,” but added, “it could have been worse.”
