Man Arrested in Georgia for Child Sexual Abuse: Authorities Reveal

A man from Hall County has been taken into custody for several charges related to child sex abuse, as reported by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).

Agents from the GBI’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes (CEACC) Unit apprehended Alexander Webster, 29, on multiple charges related to the sexual exploitation of children. The arrest took place in Hall County and Jackson County, according to the agency.

The GBI initiated an investigation into Webster’s online activity following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding potential involvement in the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.

Following the investigation, authorities executed a search warrant at Webster’s residence in Hall County, resulting in his arrest. Additionally, he faces charges in Jackson County.

The GBI received assistance from Hall County deputies and agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security during the execution of the search warrant.

Webster has been taken into custody and is currently being held at the Hall County Jail.
