Honk News (Ware, MA) – A Ware resident is confronting multiple allegations, including serious offenses related to sexual assault, abduction, and inappropriate interactions with animals.
Ware Police Department has announced that an investigation carried out by local detectives in collaboration with troopers from the State Police Unit of the Hampden District Attorney’s Office resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Michael Stanikmas on Monday.
Stanikmas is charged with the following:
Sexual contact with animals (2 counts).
Domestic strangulation/suffocation.
Indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.
Kidnapping.
Witness intimidation.
Assault and battery on family/household members.
Rape.
Assault and battery.
On Tuesday, Stanikmas appeared in court at the Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown and is currently being detained without bail while awaiting a dangerousness hearing.
A woman visited the Ware Police Station on Friday to express her concerns regarding rumors related to an alleged case of bestiality and child sexual assault. Multiple parties have made statements, with one claiming that Stanikmas reportedly engaged in sexual contact with the family pet.
