Man Arrested after Juvenile Victim Alerted Guardian of Sexual Assault; Police Probe Ongoing

Pryor, Oklahoma:

On Friday morning, about ten o’clock, the Pryor Creek Police Department and the Mayes County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant on North Whitaker Street.

According to Jeremy Cantrell, Chief of Police in Pryor Creek, a youngster accused her guardian of sexual abuse, prompting the issuing of a search warrant.

Authorities arrested Joe Bronaugh and brought the following charges against him:

  • Two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Child
  • Lewd and/or Indecent Proposals to a Child Under 16

The probe is still ongoing as reported by KTUL News.
