Authorities have charged Jason Luzader, 45, with inappropriately touching an 8-year-old boy in 2019, as reported by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office.

A 13-year-old boy revealed the incident to a CPS worker on Tuesday, according to deputies.

On September 24, law enforcement officials from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department participated in a forensic interview at the child advocacy center, as stated in a criminal complaint.

Authorities reported that the interview was conducted after a teenager revealed an incident of sexual abuse involving Jason Luzader, 45, from Fairview, to a CPS worker.

The individual reported that the event took place in 2019, noting that Luzader “entered [the individual’s] bedroom” and made inappropriate contact with the individual’s genitals, as outlined in the complaint. At the time, the child was just eight years old, according to the complaint.

Luzader faces charges of sexual abuse involving a parent, guardian, or custodian and is presently held at the North Central Regional Jail, with a bond amounting to $25,000.
