Honk News (Franklinton, LA) – A former schoolteacher from Washington Parish was taken into custody on Friday (March 21) facing several charges connected to the sexual abuse of minors after a four-month investigation, according to officials.
Darbie Colette Smith, 29, is charged with 80 counts related to the exploitation of minors, alongside one count of soliciting a minor via computer, one count of inappropriate conduct with a minor, and two counts of engaging in sexual acts with a minor, as reported by the Franklinton Police Department.
