Lafourche Parish, LA- A couple from Lafourche Parish has been taken into custody and is now facing multiple criminal charges, including rape, as a result of an ongoing investigation into child sexual abuse.
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into 34-year-old Jorden Theriot and 33-year-old Jennie Theriot following a complaint of potential sexual abuse involving multiple children.
During the ongoing investigation, deputies were able to secure search warrants for two residences. Upon conducting the searches, they discovered a significant number of firearms, accompanied by a substantial quantity of ammunition. In addition, various narcotics and further evidence were also uncovered.
Both individuals were apprehended and taken into custody at the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.
Jorden is facing a multitude of serious charges, including first-degree rape, possession of firearms as a convicted felon, and drug possession. These charges highlight the gravity of the situation.
Jennie is facing a range of serious charges, including rape, possession of firearms, drug possession, and obstruction of justice.
