Last week, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office apprehended three individuals on charges connected to the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
The Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday, Aug. 19, that it carried out an undercover operation in collaboration with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Colorado 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and the Summit County 911 Center, according to a news release.
According to the news release, around 100 individuals showed interest in soliciting a prostitute during the operation. Out of those individuals, it has been reported that approximately 10 men have expressed a disturbing interest in engaging in sexual acts with children.
According to law enforcement officials, on Thursday, Aug. 15, three men were apprehended for allegedly attempting to engage in illegal activities involving children. The individuals arrived at predetermined locations in Summit County, each on their own. The three men were promptly arrested, transported, and booked at Summit County’s jail by deputies from the Sheriff’s Office.
A resident of Summit County, Isaiah Raphael Brown, has been arrested on multiple felony charges, including soliciting for child prostitution, attempted patronizing a prostituted child, attempted sexual assault on a child, and cybercrime, according to a press release. According to reports, Brown was arrested for allegedly attempting to contribute to the delinquency of a minor, which is considered a misdemeanor.

A Twin Lakes resident named Andrew James Wright has been arrested on multiple charges, including soliciting for child prostitution, attempted patronizing a prostituted child, attempted sexual assault on a child, and cybercrime, as reported by the Sheriff’s Office.
A Denver resident named Mark Saeyoon Kim has been arrested on serious charges including internet luring of a child with intent to exploit and attempted sexual assault on a child. These are considered felonies according to the release.
The operation was carried out by law enforcement, and there were no children involved, as reported by the Sheriff’s Office.
