Iowa Man Arrested as He Molested Child Multiple Times during Their Stay Together; Charged by Authorities

Honk News (Davenport, IA) – A 39-year-old Davenport man was arrested Saturday after Davenport Police accused him of sexual assault of a child, according to Scott County Court documents.

According to Scott County Court filings, Zackary Lacy is charged with felony second-degree sexual abuse (two), lascivious conduct with a kid – fondle or touch (two), and aggravated misdemeanor indecent contact with a minor (two).

Davenport Police received an allegation of a minor’s sexual abuse on January 31, 2023, according to court filings. Lacy and the victim were both at a residence in Davenport “from the approximate date range of 01/01/2020 – 12/31/2022,” according to Scott County arrest documents, which state Lacy sexually molested the child, who was “between the ages of 9-12 during this time frame.”

Lacy and the victim were at another residence in Davenport “from the approximate date range of 01/01/2023 – 01/31/2023” when Davenport Police said Lacy sexually molested the 12-year-old child.

Lacy, who was arrested on a warrant, was being held at Scott County Jail. He has a preliminary hearing planned for March 25 in Scott County Court.
