A teacher in Indiana is accused of coercing several boys into engaging in group sex with her, leading to numerous accusations against her.
Brittany Fortinberry, a 31-year-old math teacher at Eminence High School in Martinsville, Indiana, is facing fresh charges after five more alleged victims came forward with claims of sexual assault, according to WTHR.
According to court records the station examined, Fortinberry is accused of the following:
- Ten additional counts of child molestation
- Eight counts of dissemination of matter harmful to minors
- Five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor
- One count of sexual misconduct with a minor
According to WTHR, the former educator was previously facing preliminary charges on the following counts:
- Three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor
- One count of dissemination of matter harmful to a minor
- One count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor
According to WXIN, authorities spoke with a woman who said she had been friends with Fortinberry since 2022 and that the former instructor had helped her thru her divorce. According to the site, the woman claimed that Fortinberry would act suspiciously around one of her kids, but she also noted that she would purchase pricey presents for the boy, add him on Snapchat, and stay in touch with him even after she tried to cut off contact.
Fortinberry allegedly gave the kid “shrooms, and weed and that she would make him drink a bottle” when they were together, the station reported, adding that the beverage tasted like alcohol.
According to WXIN, the child also claimed that Fortinberry bought marijuana and vape pens for several additional alleged victims and would make the kids watch her have sex if they didn’t want to.
In one instance, according to WTHR, Fortinberry allegedly spent $600 on a variety of products for a group of teenagers before forcing them to engage in group intercourse with her while wearing the mask from the film “Scream.”
According to WTHR, she allegedly threatened to commit suicide if the kids notified anyone.
