Idaho Man Molested 15-year-old Girl at House Party; Another Girl Trying to Save Victim from Him: Arrested

Boise, ID –  About a month after a 20-year-old man was charged with rape, prosecutors have now brought another felony against him related to an allegation of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in 2022.

Isaiah Williams, a resident of Boise, has been charged with felony lewd conduct involving a minor under the age of 16, following allegations that he assaulted a 15-year-old girl during a house party in October 2022. He was already contending with two additional felonies related to the incident that occurred in November.

Ada County Deputy Prosecutor Austin Payne claimed in court last week that following an encounter with the girl at the party, Williams managed to isolate her, despite attempts from one of her friends to intervene, and proceeded to sexually assault her. Payne also acknowledged that she was not of legal age.

“There’s a serious danger to the community here as the defendant in this case committed an act of sexual deviance against a minor child — which poses a serious threat to the safety of children in Ada County,” Payne said.

A spokesperson for the Boise Police Department, Haley Williams, informed the Idaho Statesman via email that Williams was taken into custody on the latest charge following the emergence of another victim. Investigators continue to gather evidence suggesting that there may be additional victims, she noted.

In November, authorities took Williams into custody for serious charges following an alleged sexual assault incident involving a woman at his residence. During a recent court hearing, Payne revealed that Williams first denied the allegations of raping the woman but subsequently confessed to the police that she had said no.

A spokesperson has confirmed that Williams, who had been employed by the Washington Department of Corrections, departed from the agency in August.

As of Tuesday, Williams remains in custody at Ada County Jail. In November, he secured his release from custody by posting a $20,000 bond and had been residing with his brother in Olympia, Washington, as indicated by court documents. He found himself in trouble once more after failing to attend a hearing, leading to the filing of a new charge.

“The defendant has demonstrated that he is a serious sexual offender, and anything besides significant bond will place Ada County citizens at risk of harm,” Payne said.

Judge David Manweiler of the Fourth District Magistrate Court has established a bond of $500,000 for each of Williams’ cases, amounting to a total of $1 million. The upcoming court session is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on January 7 at the Ada County Courthouse, according to online court records.
