Portland, OR: A student from Aloha High School was taken into custody on suspicion of being involved in the distribution of illegal drugs and possessing firearms that were not authorized.
Investigators apparently became aware of the student’s actions through his posts on several social media platforms, which purportedly showed him with “large amounts of cash, illegal narcotics, and firearms.” A statement made by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office indicates that this was the source of the information.
On March 12, the student was stopped by law enforcement officers in the 1200 block of Southwest 163rd Avenue while he was operating a motor vehicle. After originally stopping the vehicle, he fled, but investigators were able to locate him and take him into custody in a short amount of time.

Investigators were able to seize a number of illegal things during the arrest, according to the sheriff’s office. These items included “a semi-automatic ‘ghost’ gun, two Glock 9mm magazines, ammunition, scales, suspected cocaine, marijuana, liquid Promethazine, a knife, spent casings, and cash.”
As a result of the student’s suspected possession of cocaine and marijuana, he or she was charged with unauthorized firearm possession as well as commercial drug charges. The student was booked into the Washington County Juvenile Services Building.
