At the Chinese Reconciliation Park in Tacoma, Washington, a Bernese Mountain dog was scared, shivering, and by itself. It was stuck in some rocks by the water and couldn’t get out.
A person walking by saw the dog and called the Tacoma cops to help.
The first few times people tried to free the dog, they failed. Then, they used a tarp to lift the scared animal to safety.
The dogs were given a few goodbye pets before being taken to the Humane Society to get care.
With the help of some dedicated officers, the dog’s rough journey finished with a happy reunion with its owners.
