Grand Jury Indicts Wurtland Couple for Murder, Abuse of Infant Child in Kentucky

According to the police, a man and a woman from Kentucky have been taken into custody after the authorities discovered the mortal remains of their infant child.

In November 2023, officials reacted to a complaint about a youngster who was not responding at a residence located along Riverside Boulevard in Wurtland. According to the Raceland Police Chief Don Sammons, Jacob Hall and Carrie Hall were put into custody after the authorities entered the residence.

Law enforcement officers arrived on the scene and found that the couple’s six-week-old infant had passed away. They immediately alerted infant Protective Services, and the two organizations immediately began an inquiry into the matter.

Following the indictment of the pair by a grand jury, the couple was taken into custody and charged with murder as well as first-degree criminal cruelty.

The pair had parted ways before. Carrie Hall was taken into custody in Greenup County and is currently being held at the Greenup County Detention Center. Jacob Hall, on the other hand, was taken into custody by state police in Boyd County and is currently being held at the Boyd County Detention Center.
