Florida Woman Lured 13-year-old in Inappropriate Relations; Arrested after Explicit Actions Got Revealed

Honk News (Palm Coast, FL) – A Florida woman has been taken into custody following accusations of participating in sexual activities with a 13-year-old.

Authorities have taken 26-year-old Angel Sexton from Palm Coast into custody following a warrant issued for charges related to inappropriate conduct, specifically lewd and lascivious battery, on Monday.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reported that it received information regarding a delayed sexual offense involving Sexton on January 14.

Officials reported that they carried out interviews and examined text message exchanges between Sexton and the minor.

Investigators concluded that Sexton exploited her relationship to manipulate the child during the holiday visit in December. Authorities reported that these behaviors encompassed kissing, efforts at oral sex, and sexual intercourse.

It has been revealed that Sexton maintained communication with the child via text messages multiple times over several weeks following the child’s return home in January. Documents indicate that Sexton even informed the child of her plans to leave her husband for him.

During the interview with Sexton, officials reported that she first refuted any involvement in sexual activity with the child.

Nevertheless, investigators reported that she subsequently confessed to having participated in sexual activity. According to deputies, she acknowledged her involvement in the text exchanges with the child.

“It’s sickening to see a person take advantage of a child half her age and engage in a highly inappropriate and illegal relationship,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “These cases are never easy, and I commend our major case unit for their hard work to quickly make an arrest before she could continue her illegal behavior.”

Authorities reported that Sexton has been moved to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where she is currently detained on a bond of $25,000.
