Honk News (Okaloosa, FL) – A 39-year-old middle school teacher and soccer coach, Aaron Craig Gleason, recognized for his controversial writings, has been arrested and charged with child molestation in Okaloosa, Florida.
Gleason, known for making serious allegations against the queer community, particularly targeting drag queens, was taken into custody by law enforcement on January 28. He faces charges related to inappropriate conduct involving a child under the age of 12, with the accused being over 18 years old. He remains in custody with a bond set at $75,000.
Gleason’s work has been featured in various media platforms known for their critical stance on LGBTQ+ issues, including The Daily Wire, The Federalist, and The Imaginative Conservative.
Gleason, together with other contributors from these platforms, frequently reiterates assertions that LGBTQ+ individuals and their supporters are “indoctrinating” and “sexualizing” children via public education and media. Once more, Gleason faces allegations of having molested a child under the age of 12. No information regarding the allegations has been disclosed.
Based on his LinkedIn and now-removed Facebook profiles, Gleason worked as a full-time educator at Rocky Bayou Christian School (RBCS) for the last year. His supervisor at the educational institution where he works, replied by requesting ‘prayers’ for the students.
In a recent piece for The Federalist, Gleason, facing the possibility of registering as a sex offender if convicted, expressed: “It’s about the children — lost, invisible children who endure unimaginable suffering every single day.”
In the previous year, the Department of Justice recognized Pool as one among various right-wing figures compensated by a media organization funded by the Russian government to spread propaganda and misinformation to audiences in the United States.
Records from the Okaloosa County Jail show that Gleason is still incarcerated and has had bond denied. Court documents indicate that Gleason’s initial appearance is set for March 13, 2025, with a pretrial conference to follow on April 14, 2025. Judge Lacey Powell Clark will oversee both court appearances.
