Florida Dad Defends 23-Year-Old Daughter Accused of Molesting Middle School Boy

A father from Florida was recorded on video standing up for his 23-year-old daughter, who faced allegations of targeting and molesting a middle school boy. In the footage, he claims to the police that she is the true victim in the situation.

Alyssa Zinger, from Tampa, faced multiple sex crime charges last November following a police tip indicating that she had purportedly pretended to be a 14-year-old girl online to connect with minors, authorities disclosed at that time.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement at her family’s residence to confiscate her devices, Zinger’s father attempted to assert that she was the victim in the situation, as revealed by the bodycam footage acquired by Law&Crime.

“She got messed up with the wrong kid, you know, even though he’s a lot younger,” the father could be heard telling officers in the clip.

“She’s never been in trouble in her life, nothing but she met a kid and he even though he’s young — that’s why we’re we’re in this situation. She never been in trouble in her life until she met him — and this kid’s like insane.”

“Like I said my daughter has never been in trouble in her life, this kid is 14 years old, he’s got girls at his house, videotaping them, making porn at 14,” the dad continued. “My daughter’s 22, she was a virgin ’til she was 21.”

The father expressed to the authorities that his “lovely young daughter” was facing “numerous challenges” and had “mental health concerns.”

Zinger, who was subsequently apprehended, faced allegations of participating in a minimum of 30 sexual encounters with at least one middle school student aged between 12 and 15, in addition to transmitting explicit videos to multiple others.

According to police, she reportedly interacted with her victims through Snapchat.

During her arrest, Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw characterized Zinger as a “predator” and indicated that there may be additional victims.
