Honk News (Los Angeles, CA) – Los Angeles County residents affected by recent wildfires have until March 10 to apply for disaster assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
FEMA assistance can help cover a variety of needs, including:
- Grants for temporary housing and home repairs
- Low-cost loans to replace uninsured property losses
- Support programs for individuals and businesses recovering from the disaster
Funding is also available for state, tribal, and eligible local governments, as well as private nonprofit organizations, to assist with debris removal and other recovery efforts.

Two locations are currently open Monday – Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

- Altadena Disaster Recovery Center
