Family Members Released Vicious Dog at Handcuffed 6-year-old as Punishment; Arrested after Boy Suffered Life-Threatening Injuries in Ohio

Three individuals from Ohio have been arrested and are currently in custody following allegations that they subjected a 6-year-old boy to a pit bull attack while he was handcuffed, purportedly as a means of corporal punishment.

Authorities from the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence on Chapel Street in Savannah on Saturday evening, as stated in a press release. A pit bull attacked a 6-year-old boy, leaving him with injuries to his neck and ear. The boy sustained severe injuries, requiring first responders to transport him to a hospital by air.

Angelina Williams, 28, resided in the house alongside a family member of the owner, 47-year-old Robert Michalski, who was responsible for the dog. Michalski left the house with the dog prior to the deputies’ arrival.

After conducting a thorough investigation, deputies concluded that Michalski, Williams, and her boyfriend Taylor Marvin-Brown, 29, restrained the boy using handcuffs on his hands and feet, and then unleashed the dog on him.

Investigators conducted a thorough search of the residence on Monday and reportedly discovered incriminating evidence to support the charges. However, the specific details of what was found have not been disclosed.

The press release mentioned that Michalski was found hiding with the dog in an upstairs crawl space. The dog was labeled as “vicious” by animal control and was taken away by deputies.

Michalski, Williams, and her boyfriend Taylor Marvin-Brown were taken into custody by the police for allegedly endangering children. According to the complaint, the boy was subjected to cruel corporal punishment for an extended period, which posed a significant risk of physical harm.

According to records, Michalski is also being charged with tampering with evidence, while Williams and Marvin-Brown are facing charges of obstruction of justice.

All three individuals are still being held at the Ashland County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon. The case is being forwarded to the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office for review by the sheriff’s office.
