Miami, FL: The Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua committed many acts of violence in Miami. A man was arrested by the Miami-Dade Police for his alleged role in the November murder of the Doral resident.
Now, the authorities are looking for two more male suspects and two women who they believe lured José Luis Sánchez Valera to a Miami airport hotel.
Police records detailing the suspected involvement of 23-year-old Yurwin Salazar-Maita in the murder of Sanchez on November 28th. According to the arrest records, Salazar was a member of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren and was involved in the kidnapping, robbery, and murder of Sánchez and four of his associates during a house invasion.
The suspect who broke into Sánchez’s house boasted to her roommate that they were from Tren de Aragua, according to the arrest paperwork. Salazar was one of five individuals taken into custody about the murder of Sánchez on Tuesday in Broward.
He pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in Miami-Dade County to accusations including first-degree murder, kidnapping, carjacking, house invasion, and handgun possession. His criminal case will continue without bond, therefore he will be a guest at Miami-Dade Corrections.
Yorvi Jose Arenas Lezama and Julio Cesar Hernandez Montero are two more members of the group known to have committed violent acts; the Miami-Dade police are currently seeking them.
