Crack Cocaine Busted during Traffic Stop in Georgia; Jacksonville Man and Woman behind Bars

Monroe County, GA: Deputies in Monroe County discovered multiple bags of what they believed to be crack cocaine during a traffic check, leading to the arrest of two individuals.

Around 8:25 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, deputies conducted a traffic check and discovered a little bag of marijuana when they spoke with the passengers.

Deputies searched the vehicle after asking the driver and passenger to exit. Under the driver’s seat, authorities discovered a bag that had been vacuum-sealed.

The amount of crack cocaine in the bag seemed to be half a pound. Two little bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine were also discovered between the front seat and the center console.

Danny Waye and Felicia Brown were taken into custody by the deputies. Both men and woman are residents of Jacksonville, Florida. The authorities filed drug trafficking charges against both Waye and Brown.

Brown was driving the car when the officers pulled over the vehicle at a traffic stop. She had a suspended license. Another charge was filed against Brown.

There was a juvenile in the car as well. The 13 years old kid was taken into child protection custody and the family members were contacted.

The sheriff’s office was contacted in order to arrange for the child’s mother to retrieve her. Both Waye and Brown are currently being held without bond at the Monroe County Jail.
