California Man Slapped with Sentence after He Molested 7 Boys in Different Incidents and Kept Abuse Secret by Bribing Them with Ice-Cream

Honk News (Santa Ana, CA) – A man has received a sentence for his heinous acts of molesting his friends’ children, employing ice cream and money to silence them about the abuse.

On Friday, Alex Mauricio Padilla Beltran from Santa Ana, California, received a sentence of 293 years to life in prison for the sexual abuse of seven boys, with some victims being as young as 6 years old. A statement from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office revealed that the victims were sons of family friends.

In November, a jury convicted Beltran, 58, on 24 felony counts connected to the abuse of seven children.

Beltran faces charges in Orange County related to incidents involving seven boys aged 6 to 13, occurring between 2003 and 2017. In a disturbing incident, he secured a door and restrained a 6-year-old boy before engaging in sexual acts with him, according to the Orange County DA.

Prior to this conviction, Beltran, 58, had admitted guilt to felony coercion and misdemeanor conspiracy to commit a crime in a 2009 Las Vegas incident “involving the sons of the contractor he employed for his home renovation,” according to the DA’s statement.

After the incident involving a 12-year-old boy, Beltran handed the child $10 and requested that he keep it a secret from his parents. The young boy eventually confided in his mother regarding the mistreatment after she allegedly observed him displaying unusual behaviors.

The 10-year-old brother of the little boy also reported that he had been a victim of Beltran’s abuse. A Nevada judge has given Beltran a probation sentence, emphasizing the importance of staying away from minors.
