Honk News (Ukiah, CA) – A man from California, previously found guilty of sexually assaulting two employees at a Costco, including one at a free-sample stand, is now seeking to challenge the court’s ruling, even though surveillance footage captured the incidents, as reported by officials.
Timothy Scott McIlvain, 55, from Cloverdale, Calif., faced conviction in October for sexual battery, attempted indecent exposure, and resisting a peace officer due to an appalling act directed at two female employees at a Costco in Ukiah last May.
A victim reported to the Ukiah Police Department that McIlvain, whom she had previously encountered in an unsettling manner a week or two prior, halted and gazed at her as she described the samples she was distributing, as per the local news source.
As she assisted another customer, the unsettling individual approached the sample booth and positioned himself right beside the victim.
“What do you think of me?” the sicko allegedly asked the unsuspecting treat-monger.
“You’re okay,” she said, attempting to be amicable in order to avoid alarming the unfamiliar individual, as detailed in the police report acquired by the outlet.
Subsequently, according to police reports, McIlvain reached for her genitals over her clothing without uttering a single word.

According to the store manager, the predator subsequently approached another female employee and made an inappropriate comment.
“That ain’t no keys in my pocket,” he reportedly remarked, before moving to pull down his shorts.
An employee yelled at McIlvain to move away, leading him to depart before she could determine if he had truly exposed himself, according to the police report.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the individual, now listed as a sex offender, stood in the checkout line, exhibiting a complete lack of response—he “would not speak” and “aimlessly stared” at the officers from UPD, as reported by SFGate.
The disturbing individual even “went limp” when officers attempted to escort him out of the Costco — leading the police to drag him out of the superstore.
In November, McIlvain received a sentence of 12 months of probation and must register as a sex offender for a duration of 10 years, as reported by the outlet.
He is presently incarcerated in Mendocino County Jail facing a different charge.
