Honk News (Berkley, CA) – A 24-year-old man from Berkley is currently facing charges related to criminal sexual conduct and is alleged to have provided drugs and alcohol to minors, according to police reports.
Authorities in Berkley initiated a covert inquiry into Darren Bradford following a tip-off on February 5 regarding the presence of multiple minors at his residence during daytime hours. Authorities report that Bradford was escorting underage individuals to lunch while providing them with alcohol and illicit drugs. Bradford faces allegations of engaging in sexual contact with at least one underage victim.
On February 21, Bradford was taken into custody and faced a charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a minor aged between 13 and 15. He faced arraignment and was assigned a bond of $175,000. A date for the initial review has been scheduled soon.

Authorities are continuing their investigation, with plans to seek further charges against Bradford for reportedly supplying minors with alcohol, marijuana vapes and cartridges, as well as nicotine vape products.
“The investigation is uncovering the depth of his deceit, length of time, profits, and illegal acts he was committing,” Berkley police wrote in a release.
Berkley police say there may be additional victims.
