California Doctor Molested Patient at Examination Table; Faces Trouble after Victim Stunned by His Actions and Promptly Filed Report

Honk News (Fresno, CA) – According to a complaint made this week, a Fresno physician might have his license revoked after he was accused of sexual assault and deliberately avoided authorities.

Last Monday, the state Attorney General’s Office received the complaint against neurosurgeon Dr. Victor Lynn Perry.

The court petition states that the Medical Board of California asked the AG’s Office to revoke Perry’s license, and power to visit patients, and demand him to pay for the expenses accrued by the procedure to prosecute him for the claimed 2021 assault.

Having been a doctor for more than 20 years, Perry, 58, has former affiliations to the Fresno Surgical Hospital and Saint Agnes Medical Center.

On Friday, Saint Agnes released a statement pointing out Perry was not actively working in the hospital.

“While Saint Agnes does not comment on medical staff activities due to peer review restrictions, patient and colleague safety is at the forefront of our core values,” a hospital spokesperson said. “We remain dedicated to providing a healing, safe and compassionate environment for all those we serve.”

Perry either wait for a Medical Board decision or ask for an administrative law court hearing to challenge the accusations. The filing said he has thirty days to request it.

According to the lawsuit, a patient scheduled a follow-up visit at Perry’s office on Sept. 21, 2021, following neck surgery. She reported to him she suffered with sciatic nerve discomfort.

Before he advised her to lie down on an examination table, he instructed her to raise and lower her legs, according the complaint. He examined her by half circle motions, pushing on the front of her groin.

“It’s OK,” he said as he approached her pelvic area. You’re alright. I’m just adjusting, the filing stated. Right then she was sporting a menstruation pad.

The filing states he assaulted the victim with his fingers after pulling the pad from inside her underpants.

She stopped the operation right away and, upon leaving, left a letter to a receptionist stating the doctor had attacked her, according to the complaint.

For almost a year, Fresno police searched the doctor at addresses he had given the medical board; each turned out to be empty, according the file. After tracking him down using cellular data, police eventually located him at a Kerman location.

“(B)ased on Victor Lynn Perry’s pattern of life between the years of 2021 and 2024, it is this investigator’s belief that Victor Lynn Perry was being allusive and deceptive,” the filing says, quoting a police report.

According to the lawsuit, police gathered his DNA in Kerman.
