Authorities announced on Friday that a couple in Riverside County has been taken into custody on several charges related to child molestation.
In September, the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station began looking into allegations of child molestation that were reported to the Department of Public Social Services.
Authorities have found that three underage girls were sexually assaulted and photographed during sleepovers at a friend’s house over the last three years.
Authorities have identified and arrested the primary suspect, Christopher Gary Tilden, 45, along with his wife, Katrina Frances Tilden, 43, both residents of Riverside.
On Thursday morning, police carried out a search warrant at the home of the Tildens in the Lake Hills area and at Christopher Tilden’s place of employment. A variety of electronic devices have been taken as part of the ongoing investigation.
Christopher Tilden is charged with inappropriate conduct involving a minor, sexual misconduct with a minor, attempting to influence a witness, and putting a child at risk. Katrina Tilden faces charges of child endangerment, being an accessory, and attempting to dissuade a witness.
