Denied SNAP applicants are automatically screened for CFAP.

  • SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program): From 2025, adults 60+ (or 55+ for Native Americans) with incomes at or below 185% of the poverty level can get electronic cards to buy fresh produce, herbs, and honey at certified farmers markets without affecting SNAP benefits.
  • CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food Program): Offers monthly food packages to people over 60 with incomes below 130% of the poverty level. It requires only self-declaration of income and is compatible with SNAP but not WIC.
