Broken Arrow Couple Alleges Abuse by Grandson’s Guardian in Ongoing Custody Battle

There have been recent updates in the well-known case involving a Broken Arrow couple who have raised concerns about their grandson’s guardian mistreating him.

According to court documents, there are allegations of abuse made by other children living in the home, as reported by 2 News.

The entire narrative revolves around the tragic passing of Elijah Woolley, an infant who lost his life in 2018.

Bill and Lisa Woolley, the grandparents who had custody of him, faced serious allegations of murder and sexual abuse involving Elijah, their daughter’s son.

Despite the charges being dropped, Clayton, the older brother who resided with Bill and Lisa, was removed from the situation. They haven’t had any contact with him since 2018.

Clayton decided to live with his aunt on his father’s side. Lisa Woolley claimed to have no knowledge of him during that period. At the tender age of five, he began his journey.

Clayton’s aunt stepped in to take care of him and also became the co-guardian of two other children who were not part of the Woolley family.

There have been several instances of individuals attempting to run away from the residence, according to police records.

According to the Woolley’s private investigator, several witnesses have expressed concerns about Clayton’s safety. A witness account was documented and submitted to multiple authorities.

The grandmother and co-guardian of the other two children in her care (not Clayton) have also come forward with allegations of abuse. According to records, they are currently not residing in the home.

According to documents obtained by Cullen, the children, aged 6 and 8, have expressed ongoing fear of three adults in their home who subject them to punishment. The grandmother expressed her disappointment as she shared that she was recently denied the opportunity to visit the children due to one of them being “mouthy lately.”

The guardian is employed by the City of Broken Arrow, and the police have not provided any information regarding the existence of an ongoing investigation.
