Broad-Daylight Slashing Leaves 15-Year-Old Boy Injured Outside Queens High School

A 15-year-old boy suffered multiple facial slashes during a tense confrontation with another student outside their Queens high school on Monday afternoon, according to authorities and sources.

A young boy sustained three facial cuts during a violent altercation that broke out just moments from Springfield Gardens High School on Springfield Boulevard, close to 143rd Road, at approximately 2:45 p.m., as reported by law enforcement officials and sources.

According to sources, the two teenagers were engaged in a continuous conflict.

A boy who sustained injuries was transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where his condition has been reported as stable.

No arrests have been reported following the daytime attack.

A week prior, a 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg by what appears to be another teenager, occurring around the same time of day in front of South Shore High School on Flatlands Avenue in Canarsie, as reported by authorities and sources.

Authorities reported that he was transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and is currently in stable condition.
