Army Soldier Arrested after Wife Went Missing; Accused of Murder of Pregnant Wife and Her Unborn Baby

A man facing accusations of murdering his pregnant wife has had four more charges added to his case, as reported by U.S. Army special counsel on Wednesday.

PFC Dewayne Arthur Johnson, II has been taken into custody in connection with the case of his wife, Mischa Johnson, who went missing on July 31. The Army reported that the charges were filed following the acquisition of new evidence.

“The general nature of the additional charges are for the murder of Mischa Johnson, intentionally killing her unborn child, obstruction of justice, and the possession of child pornography in violation of Articles 118, 119a, 131b, and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”

The initial allegations involved making false statements, hindering justice, and charges related to child pornography.

Pfc. Johnson is currently in custody awaiting a preliminary hearing.
