Arkansas Man in Custody on Multiple Charges of Child Exploitation Materials: Police

Following an investigation by the Arkansas Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Arkansas State Police (ASP), and the Harrison Police Department, a man from Boone County was taken into custody on multiple charges, including fifty counts of possessing child sexual abuse material.

The 38-year-old Omaha resident Justin Neal Purkuhn is currently incarcerated in the Boone County Detention Center on a bond of $750,000.

After receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, authorities conducted a search warrant at Perkuhn’s apartment, according to a press statement.

During their investigation, the agents found out that Perkuhn had started a graphic chat with a female who was 17 years old, where he traded naked images of two little girls. Additionally, Perkuhn had sent 34 films and 6 photos depicting child pornography to a server in the cloud.

Officers were able to identify and locate two local victims after searching the suspect’s cell phone for further photographs, videos, and information pertaining to child sexual abuse.

Perkuhn is facing fifty charges of possessing material pertaining to child sexual abuse, as well as one count each of computer exploitation of a child, adult video voyeurism, and child video voyeurism.
