Honk News (Montgomery, AL) – According to court records, a Dutton man was charged with many counts of child sexual assault, as well as other sexual abuse crimes.
According to court records, Daniel Gomez was charged with four counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, four counts of second-degree sexual abuse, second-degree attempted sexual abuse, attempted sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, enticing a child for immoral purposes, and indecent exposure.
According to documents, Gomez is accused of entering any room, residence, or other location with the intent to entice a minor for immoral activities.
Court papers also state that he attempted to touch the youngster inappropriately, caused the child to touch him inappropriately, and exposed himself to the child “under circumstances in which he knew the conduct was likely to cause affront or alarm.”

On March 5, Gomez was indicted on the charges indicated above, but the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office did not arrest him until March 12.
According to court filings, his bond is $193,000. He is currently being held at the Jackson County Jail.
