Austell Postal Worker Arrested for Stealing AT&T Rewards Cards from Mail

AUSTELL, Ga. — A U.S. Postal Service employee has been arrested and charged after allegedly stealing AT&T rewards cards from customers’ mail routes in the Austell area, according to Austell Police.

Postal Worker Accused of Mail Theft

Investigators said the thefts occurred between September 10, 2025, and December 14, 2025. The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Adrienne Braziel of Villa Rica, worked as a city carrier and was assigned to routes linked to several missing mail complaints.

According to authorities, Braziel was captured on surveillance video at multiple locations using the stolen AT&T rewards cards, which had been mailed to customers.

She was taken into custody and charged with two counts of financial transaction card fraud.

Investigation and Postal Assignment

Police said Braziel was assigned to the South Atlanta Sorting and Delivery Center, located at 1800 James Jackson Parkway NW in Atlanta.

The Austell Police Department confirmed that the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) is assisting in the ongoing investigation to determine whether additional victims or stolen items may be involved.
