Police are looking for the driver who struck a biker in Los Angeles’ Broadway-Manchester neighborhood overnight and left him to die on the pavement.
The hit-and-run was reported soon after 11 p.m. on Sunday near East Century Boulevard and San Pedro Street.
Officers came and discovered a heavily damaged bicycle and a man in his mid-30s on the street.
A Los Angeles Police Department official confirmed to KTLA that the unidentified individual was declared deceased on the scene.
Investigators suspect the biker was cycling westbound on Century Boulevard when he was hit by a car going in the same way.
The driver did not stop to provide assistance and continued driving along Century Boulevard.
The spokesman could not provide a description of the driver or vehicle.
