According to the sheriff’s office, a man who is purportedly wanted in many Georgia counties was temporarily on the run in Volusia after fleeing a traffic stop earlier this week.
Cody Ryan Henderson, 39, was charged in Georgia with operating a chop shop, forgery, terroristic threats, and obstruction, according to the sheriff’s office on social media Wednesday.
He was detained on Thursday in Cherokee County, Georgia, according to the update to the article.
Deputies apparently spotted his pickup in Daytona Beach on Tuesday, but when they attempted to perform a traffic stop, Henderson allegedly fled and was not immediately found “despite a thorough search of the area,” according to the original post.
