On March 13, law enforcement officials carried out a search warrant at Shelton’s home, resulting in his arrest. His partner, Dana Kozeluh, was also taken into custody for failing to appear in court. Child Protective Services in Racine County played a role in finding a suitable arrangement for the couple’s children.

Shelton is confronted with several allegations, such as neglecting to revise his sex offender details, deliberately taking photos of a minor without permission, not informing a school about his sex offender status, and facing three charges of misdemeanor bail jumping. He has been assigned a bond of $25,000 in cash and is expected to make a court appearance on March 19.
Kozeluh faces a charge of misdemeanor bail jumping and is scheduled to appear in court again on June 3.
No further information was released by the authorities.
