Honk News (El Paso, TX) – A 27-year-old man was taken into custody on Thursday, March 13, following allegations of aggravated sexual assault involving a child, according to a statement from the El Paso County Constable Office for Precinct 3.
The Constable’s Office reported that Fernando Ocon, 27, is facing an active warrant for the revocation of his personal recognizance bond related to aggravated sexual assault of a child, with a bond set at $401,000.
Ocon was apprehended in the 2100 block of Lake Volta Place and subsequently processed at the El Paso County Jail without any complications, according to the Constable’s Office.

The Constable’s Office reported that Ocon was initially taken into custody by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in 2023, following an investigation by the El Paso Police.
Furthermore, the apprehension was a collaborative effort involving the Constable’s Office alongside the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit, as stated in the official release.
“Following the arrest, Constable Bernal stressed the importance of working joint operations with other law enforcement agencies,” read the news release. “Constable Bernal would like to remind the El Paso County community to be vigilant and report criminal activity to law enforcement.”
